Lovely Aruba - our last port of call. We arrived a little early and were one of the first ones off the ship. We opted not to take a tour in this port, instead we made it a beach day. Humberto had been waiting for this port the entire trip. Why? Because this was where he was going to get to ride a jet ski, for the first time in a few years. So that is just what we did. We found a cab and went to Eagle Beach and road on a double jet ski for a half hour. Humberto drove the whole time, while I hung on. It was a lot of fun! We spent the next few hours laying out on the beach. I planned ahead with my 50 spf sunblock, so no sun burn here. One thing I should mention is that I did get bit by some sort of bug, sand fleas maybe? Who knows. All I know is I got bit by a bug in Aruba, Cartagena, and Huatulco. Yes, bugs love me no matter where they are from. Anyway, we rounded out the day with a bus ride back to the port for a little junk store shopping. We did not find anything locally made. We think it was all imported from China, even though everything had a little sticker that said Aruba. Humberto did sample a local beer though. That pretty much concluded our day and our final port. Two more sea days ahead of us and then it is back to the USA. Boo
